The Authentic Education Story

We looked around the personal development world. We were frustrated with the hype and get-rich-quick seminars... and a real lack of authentic, effective strategies delivered with heart. After many conversations, we took a leap of faith, left the comfort of our jobs and decided to do something we were truly passionate about... helping people, help other people.

We started on a shoestring budget and without a clear plan, but with a strong desire to learn and grow.

Putting yourself out there is both exciting and nerve-racking. But we found the quicker we could step outside our comfort zone, the quicker we would progress.

We didn't wait for things to be perfect before we began. Far from it! We held our first event ever without a website or Facebook page, without a company email address and without business cards.

With news of our good work spreading, I was invited to speak at NAIDOC (National Aboriginal and Islander Day Observance Committee) Week. This was quite unexpected, but solid proof that good things happen when you continue to share your message with the world.

It has always been our goal to help less fortunate people around the world. This occurred when Ben and Marketa visited Tanzania and purchased beds and stationery for all the kids in the orphanage. They were so grateful they sang us a song!

After setting an intention to be on radio, it becomes a reality only 3 days later!Thousands of listeners tune in and listen to me talk about Shadow Values.

With our focus on Difference-Makers, we speak in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Perth and Adelaide together for the first time. It was truly an honour to share the stage with Dr John Demartini. The irony is when you first start off, most companies won't promote you. But when you're big enough to promote yourself, that's when the extra help arrives!

Thanks to our students being willing to go out into the world and make a difference in the lives of others, and their trust in us to assist them along the way, we were won this prestigious award from BRW (Business Review Weekly).This was also a great achievement for the personal development industry because we were 1 of only 4 education companies, and the only personal development company to make it on the BRW Fast Starters list.BRW Magazine also published an article about the co-founder, Cham Tang.

Creating a space for people to transform and heal was one of the core reasons we started the company. We wanted people to experience real processes at the event, regardless of whether they wanted to continue doing our other courses. That's why we created "The Turning Point Intensive". It was exactly what people were looking for... and after helping hundreds of people in Sydney, we were blessed to be able to take it on the road.

With the help of our team, we are proud to be able to serve over 15,000 people that want to make a difference in their own life and the lives of others.

In a surprising turn of events, BRW announces Authentic Education as the 38th fastest growing company in Australia. We were the only personal development company to make the list, so this was a huge win for the industry.

It's hard to believe, but exactly 10 years ago we decided to create Authentic Education.

We didn't have a lot of money or business experience, but we did have a hope in our heart to make a difference and a living doing what we love.

It's incredible to think we've achieved so much and changed so many lives in the past decade.
