5 Ways I Earned $100K Sharing Knowledge Online

Thinking about ways on how to earn money online? In the last 12 months, I've earned well over $100K sharing knowledge online.

Not just in one way, but five different ways, and I’m going to explain how.

I'm not saying this to brag, but to benefit people like you that could have knowledge that can truly help others (even if you doubt yourself right now).

You could have great advice, information, experience or skills in any area such as mindset, health, business, relationships or ANY topic you're passionate about. I can assure you that if you're passionate about it, many people across the world are too.

So, here are the five ways I earned $100K sharing knowledge online.

1. Coaching or Consulting

This is now the second-fastest growing industry worldwide and is one of the best ways on how to make money online. On average, coaches and consultants charge around $130 per hourly session.

So if you serve just 15 clients per week, that actually ends up being $100K a year.

And if you end up having 10 high-end clients, and you offer them a $10K a year package (which is less than $900 a month and on the lower side of what a great coach would charge), then you've already hit your $100K a year as well.

Now the reason I'm breaking down the maths is so you can see how doable it is.

One of the biggest things that hold people back from really deciding to do what they love is the fear of not having enough money to replace their current income.

That was definitely me back in 2007 when I wanted to leave my secure corporate job for something I was more passionate about, but I had that fear.

2. Group Coaching & Masterminds

This is where instead of working with people 1-on-1, you work with people 1-to-Many.

This not only improves the group accountability that people feel, it reduces your client's cost while helping you make better use of your time because you’re now helping many people at once.

And if you charge, say $420 per month per person, all you need is 20 people, and you’ll hit $100,000 a year.

The reason these figures are important is because it is important to earn money doing what you love.

Not only because you deserve to be rewarded for helping others, but also so you can continue to help as many people as possible.

The financial reward allows you to have that freedom to continue to do the work.

Now you might be thinking, “Are these figures achievable? Do people actually earn this amount?”

I have plenty of students that do. In fact, many earn triple these figures, but they are more the exception than the rule.

It just took them about a year of diligent work, cutting out all the stuff that doesn't matter and focusing only on what's truly important.

I also know 100% that it works because I've generated millions of dollars sharing my knowledge on various topics such as productivity, communication, coaching, mindset and business.

3. Workshops, Retreats Or Courses

Number three on the list of how to earn money online are workshops, retreats or online courses. This could be online using Zoom or a webinar service. Or it could be in a room in person.

Now the beauty of being able to run it online creates a true pandemic-proof business. But the great thing about it is you can also choose to deliver your courses in person or at a tropical location.

I mean, who doesn't fantasise about the idea of travelling to a beautiful location while getting paid to run a workshop about a topic you love and helping people transform their lives?

When done correctly, courses range from about $1,000 to $5,000 to attend. And I’ve been truly blessed to be in a position to help create courses with people on a variety of topics from health, mindset, business, or even something as niched as "how to talk to animals".

So, if you were to charge people about $2,000 per person, and 10 people attended your program, and you ran the course five times a year, you've already hit your $100,000.

4. Online Memberships

If you're looking for ways on how to make money online, this can be a lucrative method. Online memberships are where you offer people a login to your online course or membership program. Inside, there are videos, templates, worksheets, and support you want to share about whatever topic you love.

For example, let's say you love meditating, then you might have a complete online education program around how to meditate.

Within your course would be different modules with different templates and different exercises. You can then provide the accountability for your clients accountable through something like a private Facebook group.

And that would create your entire online program.

The reason online memberships are an attractive thing to people is because of the leverage of it all.

Once it's set up once and done correctly, you don't have to really use a lot of time after that. So you build it once and then use it forever. This is known in the industry as being “evergreen”.

Now you can price your online memberships at around $195 per month. So if you have 43 students, then you’ve already hit your $100,000 a year right there.

5. Digital Products

And the last method on our how to earn money online list is digital products. Digital products are anything you can access on the internet, such as a series of videos, audio programs, eBooks, or a combination of all three.

For example, if your digital product is worth $95 and you sell three per day, you've hit your $100K a year.
