What is the NUMBER ONE trait that all successful coaches have?

So what is one of the most essential traits of a great coach? What is the NUMBER ONE trait that all successful coaches have?

I mean what’s the big difference between a coach that has to go back to their 9-to-5 job versus a coach who jumps out of bed each morning because they’re inspired to help people, has a booked out calendar and makes over $200,000 a year?

You might think it’s their years of experience, level of coaching skills or some unique talent Or, maybe you think it’s an entrepreneurial knack, like how to market or run a business.

While all of those thoughts are valid, after 16 years of coaching and training new and experienced coaches, it’s not the NUMBER ONE trait that separates successful and unsuccessful coaches.

So, what is? It’s the ability to focus on your client’s HEART’S DESIRES.

This means putting yourself in your client’s shoes and understanding what they dream of or what they yearn for… what their heart desires.

Then using this understanding to truly help them, as if they were actually YOUR OWN desires…

When we focus on our client’s heart’s desires and act as if they are our own desires, everything else falls into place.

The number one trait is not about the skill of coaching. It’s about the WILL to have your client succeed.

And this is the most powerful and inspiring way to become a highly successful coach.

Without this central focus of your client’s heart’s desires, you will probably get too immersed in your own steps you’re trying to follow, or your own goals or intentions.

To paint a much clearer picture for you, let me share with you a story about one of America’s top mindset coaches for the world’s top-performing professional athletes, Jim Fannin.

Jim was coaching professional baseball player, Alex Rodriguez, and Alex said he wanted to be the greatest homerun hitter of all time.

Jim said that it was a big goal, so they sat down and worked out what the essence of that actually is.

What makes an incredible home run hitter? Is it the strength in the upper body? Is it their ability to run quickly? Or is it their ability to hit the ball as hard as they can?

What they discovered was that the number one thing that Alex needed to perfect (as in the absolute essence of the craft) to become the greatest home run hitter was to hit the ball flat with an accelerated bat.

When he perfected just that, everything else fell into place. Alex went on to become one of the top 5 greatest home run hitters of all time.

The Number One Trait Of A Great Coach

So if you’re like me and want to help people live their best lives, I’ve discovered that the essence of the craft of coaching is to focus all of my attention on their heart’s desires.

“But what about all of the other stuff needed to become a successful coach?” I hear you ask.

Sure, once you have the will to succeed, there’s an entire process around the coaching skills needed to succeed such as coaching tools, how to package yourself or how to attract clients.

It takes longer than a few minutes for me to explain and walk you through some critical exercises and processes to the point where you can clearly visualize the path to helping your clients succeed and having a successful coaching business.

This is why I’m running a free online event called “How To Become A Highly Successful Coach”. I’ll show you how to harness your traits, put them to work through measurable steps which I’ll go deep into detail at the event, so you can ultimately transform yourself into the best coach you can be.

On top of that, I’ll teach you how to attract a steady stream of new clients each month. And, not only will you discover how to transform your life as a coach but also the lives of others.

So why did I go through the trouble to create this free event? Well, many years ago I was given the opportunity to do something different with my life (besides work 50 hours a week in the rat race).

Now I love personal development, and I’ve been fortunate enough to do what I love which is helping people to go out there and help other people.

And I want to give you this opportunity to possibly change the course of your life too.

So, if you’ve got the will to succeed, but just need the skills to succeed, click here to learn more or grab your free ticket to the event.

And why is it free you ask? That’s because like Zoom, Spotify and Gmail are free, we use the “Freemium” marketing method where we deliver great value for free and a small group of you who want more, go on to invest in the premium version. Everybody wins.

Having taught you the number one trait of a great coach, I’m now excited to show you the steps to success. Grab your free ticket to the event below. See you there!
