How To Become A Superhuman

Today, I would like to share with you how to become a superhuman what it actually takes to create superhuman results. By superhuman results, I mean things that go beyond your imagination.

I remember a few years ago how a dear friend of mine, Rob Mason, was telling me how he ran a 100-mile marathon. That's 168km in case you were wondering.

He did this in 24 hours and 25 minutes.

Now I know you may be thinking to yourself, "Was he running for the whole time?" The good news is, he wasn't running the entire time. Halfway through, he managed to have a 45-second sleep on the side of the road!

As he put it, he had a 'nana' nap in which he laid down and re-programmed himself. He told himself, "I can do it, I can keep moving." Then he got up after the 45 seconds and got back into the race.

I asked Rob, "What do you have to do to condition yourself for the race?"

He said, "The funny thing is, I used to believe that I couldn't even complete a marathon. So I went out there and tried it. I ran a marathon. And once I ran a marathon, I started thinking, what else is possible when I put aside these beliefs I have?"

I then asked him, "What's the difference between running a marathon and a 100-mile race?"

He said it's the ability to focus! And that's what it's all about - it's your ability to focus.

You want to ask yourself, "What is my ability to focus like?", and stay focused on ONE activity long enough to see it through all the way to the end.

How To Become Superhuman By Using The Power Of Focus

Rob asked himself 3 unique questions the whole time he was running the 24-hour race:

  1. Where are you? His answer was, "HERE."
  2. What time is it? His answer was, "NOW."
  3. Who are you? His answer was, "THIS MOMENT."

He asked those questions about 3,000 times throughout the race.

So you may be thinking, "But Ben, how do I put that into my daily life? I'm not wanting to do superhuman activities!"

If you're doing any task whatsoever, like mowing the lawn, folding your clothes or cooking your dinner, then I implore you to use the power of focus.

If you have trained with me before, you know that I always say that results in life come from two things: It's your focus, and the questions you ask yourself wrapped around your values.

What you focus on expands.

In Conclusion

So the next time you're doing something, just ask yourself these three questions and answer them.

  • Where are you? HERE.
  • What time is it? NOW.
  • Who are you? THIS MOMENT.

If you continue to ask those questions, you will remain centred and balanced.

And the more centred and balanced you are in the moment, the results will surely show.

We hope you enjoyed this post, "How To Become A Superhuman". I look forward to seeing you sometime somewhere soon. Until we meet again, smile often, laugh out loud and do whatever it takes to be your own best friend.
