Your Self-Worth Controls Your Net Worth

Is there a link between self-worth and money? Yes there is. Watch this video to find out more.

Ever wondered to yourself, “How do I increase my net worth?”, or, “How do I become rich?”

Or does money cause stress in your life and you feel frustrated about your finances… but don’t know the root cause?

Many people feel the same way. They are unaware of what’s causing this money pattern to show up in their lives again and again.

A lack of money is often caused by a lack of self-worth (either consciously or subconsciously).

Now, if you’re not sure what “self-worth” is, it’s the story you have about yourself. And the story that you tell yourself directly correlates to the money flowing into your life right now.

Job ad imageFor example, I used to have really low self-worth. When I was about 23 years old, completely unemployed and broke, I remember opening up a newspaper to look in the jobs section. There was an ad that was a big ad for a position as a recruiter.

And I remember looking at it and going, “This is such a big ad! This is definitely a TOP company, and there’s no way that they would want to hire me!”

For three days, I didn’t apply for that job. Not because I didn’t have the skill or the experience they were looking for, it was because of my low self-worth.

I didn’t believe that I was worthy of a job in a company that would place an ad that big in a newspaper.

But one day, I psyched myself up enough, and I decided to apply. To my surprise, I got the job. It was the highest paying corporate job I ever had.

By the way, in case we haven’t met, my name is Benjamin J Harvey, co-founder of Authentic Education (a BRW Fast100 Company).

Since 2009, I’ve dedicated my life to helping people across the globe to reset their mindset and live abundantly on purpose.

So my point is, I KNOW firsthand, that there is a direct correlation between people with low self-worth and low net worth.

For you, it may not be about applying for a job. It can show up in other ways.

Woman hesitating imageMaybe it’s hesitating in asking for a promotion. If you’re a business owner, it’s hesitating asking for the business or charging a certain price. Maybe it’s hearing a good idea but doing nothing about it or making money and spending all of it.

There’s a subconscious force at work in all these things, and that’s your self-worth.

If you’re constantly asking yourself, “Why am I poor?”, well, if you walk around all day thinking you’re not worthy, you don’t deserve it, and other people deserve it more, the last thing you’re doing is creating and compounding wealth.

So please stop telling yourself that because it’s not the TRUTH. However, if you believe it to be true, it will be a self-fulfilling prophecy for you.

Because being WORTHY and being WEALTHY are two sides of the same coin. They’re both a state of mind, and one thing affects the other. That’s how self-worth and money are connected.

So the answer to your question “how do I increase my net worth?” is until you change your story about your self-worth, you’re not going to see ANY opportunity to generate wealth.

There are so many people out there now making millions of dollars. There are more millionaires on planet Earth than there ever was before.

The opportunity to make millions is everywhere, and it’s your current level of self-worth that’s preventing you from increasing your wealth.

Money in mind imageThese unconscious set of rules that you tell yourself or others had told you when you were young are controlling your current net worth.

So, how do you increase your self-worth and your net worth?

You need to master three important pillars:

  1. Your millionaire mindset – This not only includes the story you tell yourself, but more profound things such as your values, your vision and your purpose.
  2. Your time – All millionaires and billionaires have the same 24 hours in a day, but how do they maximize the time they have to create wealth? That’s what you must learn.
  3. Your money – Most people have no clue how true wealth is created. You need to level the playing field by understanding the strategies of the wealthiest people on the planet.

These three pillars are pretty in-depth, and it takes more time for you to truly get it and truly grow from it than a quick video or a quick blog post.

That’s why we created a FREE and LIVE online course via Zoom called “Turning Point Intensive”. It’s actually grown to be Australia’s largest personal development course.
